What United Methodist's Believe

Although many United Methodist Churches include the historic creeds of the Christian faith in their worship services, one will find a tremendous diversity of belief's and postions among people called United Methodists. Below you find find some statements that reflect that diversity.   

• God is bigger, better, closer and more wonderful than we can imagine.
• The Bible is God’s guidebook for living.
• Jesus is God showing himself to us.
• Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through us now.
• God created and is still in the business of creating.
• Grace is the only way to have a relationship with God.
• God wants to have a relationship with you!
• Faith is the only way to grow in our relationship with God.
• God can bring good out of terrible events and God promises God's best
when life gives us it's worst.
• Death is a beginning, not the end.
• The church is to serve people like Jesus served people..
• We can become more like Jesus.
